bmw carbon fibre shark fin aerial cover by form

an easy, subtle modification that ties in with existing carbon fibre accessories. the form shark fin aerial cover slides over the oem antenna and fixes with pre-applied 3m tape. made from a single layer of pre-preg carbon fibre in a 2x2weave, it matches oem and most aftermarket carbon, and radio interference is non-existent.

how to install

you’ll need mild soap and water, a microfibre cloth, isopropyl alcohol or panel wipe, and optionally a hair dryer for warming the tape.

1. clean the antenna wash the shark fin with soap and water, then dry it completely.
2. degrease the surface wipe with alcohol or a panel wipe to remove wax and oil, then let it dry.
3. test fit place the cover over the antenna without removing the tape liner and check it lines up.
4. stick it on peel the 3m tape liner, place the cover, and press firmly around all edges for 30-60seconds. warming the tape slightly gives a stronger bond.
5. let it cure avoid touching or washing the car for 24-48hours.
